Good luck guys! I'll put you on bookmark and watch you - hopefully you guys will do well!

If I lived in the States, I'd offer you lodging for sure! But, unless you plan on making a detour to Canada, that's not going to happen :P

And - wow, first comment?

Ann Byrns here, thanks so much for your support! Today would have been my mom's birthday, so we're having a party for Winnie (the horse). We don't know her actual birthday so we like to celebrate it on April 8. Winnie's favorite treats are made in British Columbia, Canada and she will have a muffin cake today to share with the other horses at the barn. (Stud Muffins)

Happy Birthday to Winnie and Winnie! :)
Congratulations on the REALLY cool website. LOVE the font.
Are you excited? What are your biggest fears? And what are your biggest hopes? What types of questions are you not willing to answer? So, we read in your website that you are a vegetarian, how come? When are you happiest? Of all your spiritual journeys, which one was the most profound, and why? What is the meaning of life? What is your favorite color?
P.S. Your daughter is beautiful. And your son is stunningly handsome. But both pale in comparison to the striking good lucks of Winnie, the Wild Mustang!

There is an old English proverb that says "Show me your horse and I will tell you who you are....". Your reflection shows well in the lovely horse that you have rescued and who has allowed you to become Her friend. I wish you well on your journey. I am sorry that you will not be passing closer to me in Texas. My equine would have enjoyed you two.....
"You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed."

Good luck and God speed.

My thanks go out to all the kind people out there who have offered us a place to stay on our journey West. I will attempt to answer each e-mail individually on Friday, April 10. I never expected so much interest on the first day of our website! Your stories and sweet invitations touch my heart, and confirm what I already believe about the goodness that exists in people everywhere. Love, Ann

I am reminded of a dear friend; he too was faced with a challenge and saw fit to look within himself and take his walk- and while the reasons were quite different, it is this spirit that lives deep within us all, the desire to be, to achieve and overcome that allows us all to place one foot in front of the next as we face and walk through each day. Your quest will be long, but the rewards many. I wish you well in your journey. May each day be more rewarding than the prior, and your night be cool to the open sky.

Special to inquisitive
Are you excited? Yes. What are your biggest fears? Bears when camping. And what are your biggest hopes? That we will complete the walk and Winnie will not suffer any injury whatsoever. What types of questions are you not willing to answer? Ones that are rude to the point of profanity, but I haven't rec'd any like that so far! So, we read in your website that you are a vegetarian, how come? I believe in the sacredness of life. When are you happiest? When I'm with my horse and she is happy, too. Of all your spiritual journeys, which one was the most profound, and why? Fasting in India because I found out I was hungry. What is the meaning of life? Kindness. What is your favorite color? RED, without a doubt!
