My Pals Need Someone to Love Them Forever
Hi Fans!
Winnie here, feeling a bit melancholy as I say good-bye to my friends at Wyandot County Equine Rescue. Mom says an air ride truck will be picking me up tomorrow and taking me to California because my legs hurt and I can't walk all the way there.
Today Mister Albino took pictures of all my friends here so I can make a scrapbook. Mom sent the pictures to the webmaster at the Wyandot Rescue website, who will put them on the internet in hopes some humans with horse experience will come to adopt them.
All my Ohio friends have been telling me how lucky I am to have someone who loves me, someone who won't give me away even though I am lame. All the horses here are looking for someone like that to love them forever and ever. A few are lame like me, but they might get better. Some had cruel owners who mistreated them and they have a few problems with people but they will get over that if someone who understands horses adopts them. Others had pretty good humans and there isn't anything at all wrong with them, but their caretakers got sick or had to give them up because they lost their jobs. Here are the photos of my Ohio friends who are looking for homes. I am going to miss them!

Dear Winnie,
What a great ambassador you would be for horse advocacy in the Washington DC. There are so many horses that need forever homes.
We need to stop excessive breeding first, horse slaughter second and then educate people about how to love and care for horses. As we know....horses are pure magic.
Have fun in California. The Kerhonson gang will come and visit you and Ann in Paradise.
Love, hugs, peace,
Joyce, Dakota, Mama, Sasha, Pasha & Ziggy ...oh also paw kisses from Buddy, Filthy Phil, Jake, Serena and Dusty...happy trails!!!!
Have a safe trip to Cali! I hope you enjoy your new home and that your leg gets better.
You might not have walked all the way but, I have to say I think you and Ann made a great point and attempt that life can go on even with things being the way they are. I hope that we all see pictures of your new home and that you will keep us posted on how you are doing in your new home.
Best of luck and I wish the best for Ann and the new life the two of you will have.
:) D & A
