First Get Dirty, Then Get Clean

Hi Fans!
Winnie here, blogging from California. I've been taking it easy, hanging out next to Sam the Mule, enjoying the hay here and rolling in the round pen whenever I get a chance. I like to get down and dirty. Today Mom gave me a bath after my roll. I've decided I like cooling off in the hose water. The scrubby brush massage is pretty nice, too.

Mom's filly took her boy riding on Donovan, the big Tennessee Walker. Word has it Donny's gaits are nice but he doesn't have guts for the trail and hates to go out alone. Asali has to lead him around on a pony line ever since he heard about the bears around here. I let him borrow my bear-scare bells and told him to stop worrying so much.

Mom and I miss our friend Mister Albino and now I don't mind if he calls twenty times a day. He went back to his home in Connecticut and as soon as he got there, he ordered me a new tub of Stud Muffins. That's me, waiting in my stall for the delivery truck!

Love, Winnie

Hi, Winnie. It looks like you're having fun in California. We like the rolling in the dirt part. Thanks for the update! Your friends, Missile Launch and Rein Dance
Hay Winnie!
Yes, you are right, Donovan is a little scared of going out on the trail alone. But I bet the more he gets ridden and the more he goes out on the trails alone, the more confidence he will build! I was scared too of the trails when I first started going out. Now I am the leader when we all go out! I bet by the time you are well and rested and joining us on trail rides, Donny won't be so scared anymore! Thanks for letting him borrow your bear-scare bells. I think those are helping!
Lots of love and whinnies,
Asali
Thank you for the post on the Mustangs at Equine Affaire!
Just beautiful.
