Winnie Wants Your Opinion

Hi Fans!
Winnie here, blogging from the barn in California. We've had some wild weather here the last couple of days, big winds and lots of rain. I am happy to report that no trees came down at the ranch and all the horses are fine.

On the other hand, I'm sad that Mom decided to relieve Mister Albino of his fan club duties and role as my Fan Club President. She says, since I'm not on the road anymore, and we haven't received any new memberships since I became established in my new home in California, I don't need a Fan Club President. Even though Mom is my caretaker and manager, so to speak, I think I should have been asked about it before she made the decision. I don't want to sound big-headed, but after all, I am a National Treasure, and the star celebrity on these pages. I should have been consulted first. Presidents, I thought, are elected by the people, that's the American Way, and that's why I am putting the question to my Public. Mister Albino has been an excellent President, don't you think? I'd like to keep him on, even if there's not that much work to do at the moment.

To his credit, Mister Albino recently rescued my friend, Donovan, a Tennessee Walker who lost his caretaker to cancer, by paying $1000 for the ownership transfer. He brought Donovan to our barn because Donny needed a good forever home and he knew Mom would love him and care for him. In my opinion, Mister Albino is a good Fan Club President and should stay in office. I am asking all of you to vote to keep him on board, if he will accept, by giving us a "Yes to President Albino" in comments or in an email to me, winnie@walkingwithwinnie.com
Your friend,
Winnie

I'm thrilled that you're blogging again, Winnie! I've wondered how you were doing in your new home. If Mr. Albino wants to retain the office, I think he's earned it. As long as someone keeps telling us what you're up to, I'm happy! And I'm glad you're doing well in your new home. Let us know how your mom is doing sometime, too....

Hi Ann & Winnie: So glad you two are settled into you're new place!! You gave me hope by sharing you're story... I too lost everything I knew and loved and still struggle with my loss. I'm trying to find my way back home, putting the pieces back together little by little. I feel like Mr. Albino is part of the family, the journey and definitly needs to stick around!! Smiles&Love...Mare

Ultimately, it’s up to Mr. Albino, but I think that his presence on behalf of Winnie has been refreshingly wholesome and positive. I hope he decides to stay in office. Therefore, I vote “Yes to President Albino.”

By all means, If Mr Albino is willing, he should stay as President of your fan club. I look forward to your blogs. Keep them going. Everyone should have a safe place. I'm glad you've found yours.

Hi Ann,
I agree with everyone on here. If Mister Albino is willing to stay on as President then great! I know that your trip is complete, but what about keeping the site to promote the plight of the Mustangs? Everyone loves your blogs and it is a cause that you both are passionate about. Just an idea.

Your friends,
Jodi and Bo from PA
