Snow in California?

Hi Fans!
We've been snowed in at the barn for a couple of days now. Don't ask me what happened to the California Sun. At least JayaMae moved her horses up to the Main Barn to hang out with Donovan and me.

Donny thought long and hard about coming out of the barn. I heard he was raised near the California coast. Maybe that's why he's always in a fog.

Asali wouldn't come out at all, even though I gave her my old blanket to wear. She's from Chico, down in the valley, and never saw the white stuff before!

Hey, Forest, try licking that pole--tastes just like an ice pop!
(Don't worry, he didn't fall for that one. He's from Idaho.)

That tree looks like it's iced with cake frosting. I'm getting the munchies.

Hey Dogbreath! Run up the hill and tell Mom I'm hungry, would ya?

I'm bored, too. No running around the arena today.

Mom says I have cabin fever, but she assures me it's not serious. I wouldn't mind getting a few get well letters, though, if any of my fans have time to write.

Send me a line at P.O. Box 1712, Magalia, CA 95954 or email winnie@walkingwithwinnie.com

I answer all my fan mail personally. Oh, and BTW, I heard somewhere that stud muffins are the best cure for cabin fever!

Love, Winnie

Thanks for the encouragement Don! It snowed again last night but Mom says she might take me out anyway. She can't take Donovan, he's a klutz--he trips even on try ground!

Hi, Winnie. It's supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny all the time in California. Your mom had a lot of trouble with directions when you two were on the road. Are you sure you didn't just walk in circles for three months and you're actually in Connecticut? Ask your mom to heat your water and put apple cider in it. That's very yummy on a cold day. Your friends, Missile Launch and Rein Dance

Hi, Winnie. Keep an eye on Donovan. From what I hear he can trip and fall when he's standing still. If he goes down in the snow he might not be able to get himself up until Spring. Your friend, Show Time
