Mister Albino Pays a Visit!
Hi Fans!
Guess who woke me up in the middle of the night over the weekend? I thought I was dreaming! It was my Fan Club President, Mister Albino! He came all the way from Connecticut. He even got that crunchy carrot through airport security!
Yesterday our whole group went out on the trail. First JayaMae rode out Forest's joy bucks in the arena. Then that guy gave Mister Albino a nice, quiet pony ride, pulled along by Asali. Mom rode me and Jake rode Donovan.
Then this morning, Sally Hugg came to the barn and gave Donovan a new cast on that funny foot of his.
She added some new goop called Super Fast to the bottom of his hoof. I should have told her it won't help him win the Derby. Donovan's canter is slower than molasses in January.
He had to stand with one leg up like a flamingo for a really long time. After it was over, I gave him one of my stud muffins and Mom let him take a nap in the round pen.

Looks like Donovan will be a new man (or horse) in no time.
Hi, Winnie. We wish they had invented Super Fast before we retired. It might have helped us. Unfortunately we weren't super fast. But on the positive side, retirement isn't all that bad!
